Crock Pot Lasagna

Step 1: Make Sassy Red Sauce

Step 2: 

Ingredients:

4 cups of Sassy red sauce

1 cup of Water

1 15 ounce container of Ricotta Cheese

2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

1 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese

1 box Lasagna noodles, uncooked

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix all 3 cheeses together. Best to massage with hands.
  2. Spray the bottom of the crock pot with non- stick spray.
  3. Add 1 cup of Sassy red sauce. Depending on the style of crock pot, you may need more red sauce to make a nice thick layer of sauce.
  4. Top the sauce with two layers of uncooked lasagna noodles. Break to fit the pot.
  5. Next top with the cheese mixture. Do a scoop at a time and press onto the noodle to flatten out as needed. Clumps of cheese OK. As it cooks and melts will distribute evenly.
  6. Keep adding layers of sauce, noodles and cheese.
    1. I like my last layer as a nice thinner mixture of sauce and cheese.
  7. Pour 1 cup of water on the top of built lasagna.
  8. Cook on low for 4-6 hours. High for 3-4 hours.

Note:

Healthy option, use eggplant.
