Sassy Stove Top Mac and Cheese

Serving: 4 people

Ingredients

1 tablespoon of butter

1 tablespoon flour

1 ½ cups water

2 cups milk

½ pound of choice of pasta

1 ½ tablespoon Sassy Spice

4 ½ ounce of Private selection Chef’s Blend

4 ½ ounce of Private selection Alpine Blend

Directions:

  1. Start boiling the water and cook the pasta. As the pasta is cooking start step 2.
  2. Melt the butter in a large stockpot over medium- high heat. Add flour and stir until combined. Cook for one minute, stirring occasionally. The pour one cup of water and whisk until the mixture is completely smooth and begins to thicken. Gradually pour in the remaining water and milk, stirring until evenly combined. As you are completing this process, slowly add in 1 tablespoon of Sassy Spice so it can the flavor into the sauce.
  3. Stir in the cooked pasta and ½ tablespoon of Sassy Spice. Reduce the heat to med- low and maintain a low simmer. Continue to simmer till sauce thickens. About 4-6 minutes.
  4. Remove from the heat and stir in the cheese until melted.
  5. Serve immediately.
